Study Leave

The study leave year runs from August until the following July. 30 days (60 sessions) is your total allowance. From this total sessions are deducted for internal teaching (group work, induction, topic teaching). The remaining sessions are available for you to organise your own study leave events. Please remember you will need 5 days (10 sessions) for ST3 practice visits. LTFT trainees have study leave time calculated on a pro-rata basis.

The HEE study leave process has moved to an online Intrepid system, some of you may already be familiar with it. Please see below guidance on how to use the new system which will eliminate the need to submit completed paper forms.
